USC LIBRARIES PUBLISH A NEW EDITION OF THE DEVIL IN FRANCE

The USC Libraries' recently published a new edition of
Lion Feuchtwanger's memoir The Devil in France. This
account, describing the German-Jewish novelist's internment
and escape from Nazi-occupied France, has been out of print
since 1941. Our new edition includes refinements to the
original English translation, provides a map of the book's
events, and ends with Marta Feuchtwanger's account of how
she and her husband escaped from Europe--never before published
in English [translation by Adrian F.]. As a one-campus-one-book
initiative,The Devil in France is free to all members of the USC
community and is available at several libraries across campus."
