USC LIBRARIES PUBLISH A NEW EDITION OF THE DEVIL IN FRANCE

The USC Libraries' recently published a new edition of
Lion Feuchtwanger's memoir The Devil in France. This
account, describing the German-Jewish novelist's internment
and escape from Nazi-occupied France, has been out of print
since 1941. Our new edition includes refinements to the
original English translation, provides a map of the book's
events, and ends with Marta Feuchtwanger's account of how
she and her husband escaped from Europe--never before published
in English [translation by Adrian F.]. As a one-campus-one-book
initiative,The Devil in France is free to all members of the USC
community and is available at several libraries across campus."

Particularly enjoyed the amusing piece on the number of hits LF gets on the various different language versions of wikipedia. Also contains an article by Edgar F. entitled ‘Lion and Ludwig Feuchtwanger: Two Brothers’ and one by Adrian F. entitled ‘Lion Feuchtwanger and the Culture of Remembrance’, which also appeared in last year’s Festschrift. Full table of contents here.
